Protesters brought Tel Aviv traffic to a halt Tuesday morning in a nationwide day of action calling for the release of hostages in Gaza and a negotiated end to the war. Later today, Israel’s security cabinet is set to discuss plans for a major assault on Gaza City, a source familiar with the talks said.
