Pulse Memorial crosswalk honoring shooting victims REMOVED overnight

From MSNBC.

The rainbow crosswalk in Orlando, Florida, that was part of the city’s Pulse Memorial was painted over by the state late on Wednesday night. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer criticized the removal of the crosswalk on social media, calling it a “cruel political act.” The memorial was created to honor the 49 people fatally shot by a gunman at the Pulse LGBTQ nightclub in 2016, one of the largest mass shootings in the country’s history. Hours after, community members came together to color over the repaved crosswalk.
