Russia launched a barrage of drones in an overnight attack on Ukraine on Saturday. The attack injured three and set three warehouses on fire, the Kyiv city military administration said.

Tracers from air defences could be seen shooting into the sky as orange hues illuminated smoke plumes that drifted over the capital city during the attack.

Ukraine’s air force said on Saturday that Ukraine’s air defences shot down 56 of 88 drones launched by Russia across the country.

It said in a statement that 24 drones were "lost" as the military used electronic warfare to redirect them. Damage was reported in five Ukrainian regions in the center, east and south of the country.
