Santa Luzia is an uninhabited island in Cape Verde with an arid climate and a desert-like landscape. 🏝️ At the end of June, hundreds of sea turtles land on the beaches to lay their eggs. But washed-up trash from around the world puts these animals at risk. Luckily volunteers are lending a helping hand ahead of the turtles’ arrival! 🐢
