What if we told you that security can be both easy to install AND inexpensive. Matt welcomes tech expert Lee Snedaker to install a Reolink security system at The Risinger Build. The system includes 4K Ultra HD PoE cameras and a video doorbell, all connected via Cat6 cabling to a local DVR—eliminating the need for monthly fees. Lee guides Matt through wiring, creating RJ45 patch cords, and mounting the equipment, including a custom mounting block for better camera placement. The installation proves to be largely plug-and-play, and Matt notes the system’s impressive value and ease of setup for under $500. The Reolink system is not only cheaper than most alternatives, but also very effective for residential use.
