Severe Flash Flooding Spurs Water Rescues in Tennessee

Heavy rain in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is causing severe flash flooding with some areas getting more than six inches in just four hours. While the flood threat recedes, residents in Juneau, Alaska, are told to evacuate as water from a nearby glacier threatens to overrun its basin. It comes as record-breaking temperatures are bringing dangerous heat from the East and West Coasts. NBC’s Erin McLaughlin reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the forecast.
