From Global News.
Visitors to Tatlow Park in Vancouver, B.C., are complaining that the arrival of hot summer weather has brought an unwanted stench.
The Vancouver Park Board spent at least $2.5 million over six years restoring the stream which had, for decades, flowed through underground pipes. But the water is now festering in stagnant pools.
“It smells like hot garbage,” says Sandra Mihajilovic, a visitor to the park.
Signs have been put up warning the water is not suitable for recreational use.
As Jordan Armstrong reports, visitors to the park are calling on the city to address the smell and other problems in the park.
