South Korea plane crash: What do the experts say? | DW News

From DW News.

South Korea is observing a week of national mourning after a jetliner crash killed 179 people. It’s the deadliest plane crash ever on the country’s soil. Only two people survived the disaster on Sunday, both were members of the crew. People have been paying their respects at a memorial in the city of Muan, where the plane went down. South Korea’s acting president is also attending the ceremony. Investigators are now analyzing the flight data and comb the wreckage in search of bodies, and answers. Some experts have also criticized the airport’s construction, having that solid wall at the end of the runway.
