Spanish firefighters on Sunday battled various active wildfires in the Leon province as the country experiences a scorching heatwave. Members of the Spanish military emergency unit were deployed to prevent the spread of blazes in the towns of Yeres and Orallo, as five other wildfires were raging in Castile and Leon region, making a total of seven active wildfires.
