Squamish wildfire: Local state of emergency, evacuation alert for BC community

A local state of emergency and evacuation alert is in place in Squamish, B.C., where a wildfire has quickly grown and is threatening dozens of homes.

The Dryden Creek blaze was five hectares when the emergency was declared Tuesday and had grown to more than 20 hectares by the following day.
