Stocks on the Taiwan Stock Exchange surge in early trading, tracking global markets higher, after US President Donald Trump suspended his highest trade tariffs, except for those on China. "I believe Taiwan has a very high chance of benefiting" from a US-China trade war, stock analyst Alex Lin tells AFP.
