Across Southern and Western states like California, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Texas, tens of thousands of tarantulas are beginning the crawl to find their perfect mate this summer. It is all part of the so-called summer of bugs with a significant increase in ticks this season compared to last year’s and a massive cicada bloom across dozens of states.
