Texas floods: Kerr County officials provide update on response, search efforts | LIVE

From Global News.

Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha and other officials will provide an update Thursday following the catastrophic flooding in Texas. At least 120 people are now reported dead in what is now considered the deadliest inland flooding in the U.S. since 1976.

More than 160 people are still believed to be missing in the hard-hit Kerr County.

On Wednesday, several hundred people gathered for a worship ceremony at a high school stadium in Texas to honour those who lost their lives, or are still missing, in the wake of the devastating flash floods.

Search crews and volunteers continue to scour miles along the Guadalupe river for anyone still missing.
