Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering a full occupation of the Gaza Strip – that’s according to Israeli media reports. On Monday, Netanyahu said he would convene the cabinet to approve a new war plan – but the timing of that meeting has not yet been confirmed. The Israeli prime minister appears to be at odds with the chief of the Israeli Defense Force, who is against a total military takeover of the Strip. Netanyahu is facing fresh pressure to bring the war to a swift end.
