Images from the Valdegour neighbourhood in the west of Nîmes, southern France, where a shooting has left eight people injured, one of them with a life-threatening prognosis, according to the public prosecutor’s office. The shooting occurred at around 7.15pm on Friday, in a district plagued by drug trafficking, according to a police source, who added that the perpetrators were on the run.
