—+ Shoutout!

🏆Congratulations🏆 to the following four fans on our Deep Look Community Tab for answering one of the two questions in our GIF challenge correctly! We asked what do baby jumping spiders eat during their first few weeks of life, while they’re still in their mom’s nest, and how do they learn to hunt. These four fans answered the second question correctly when they said that spiderlings learn to hunt through instinct. More specifically, they learn to hunt by training themselves, practicing on their own. None of our fans gave us the answer we were after when we asked what the spiderlings eat while they’re still in the nest. They either eat nothing, or some of the yolk left over from when they were inside their eggs.
