Palestinian families have been displaced from the northern Gaza Strip since October 2023 when the Israel-Hamas war erupted. According to the ceasefire deal, the Israeli military had been expected to allow hundreds of thousands of Palestinian to return to northern Gaza through a road that bisects the territory starting Sunday.
