From Global News.
Eighty people on-board Delta Air Lines Flight 4819 scrambled to get off the plane after it crashed at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport on Monday.
The plane flipped over and burst into flames, before firefighters doused it with foam as thick black smoke billowed above.
By then, the 76 passengers and four crew members had self-evacuated from the plane. All of them survived.
Looking at video that has emerged of the crash, aviation expert Robert Kokonis says, “It was a hard landing. And I don’t know why that was… was the rate of descent, the vertical speed too great?”
