The Trump administration claims a Chicago Bulls cap owned by Kilmar Abrego-Garcia is evidence that he belongs to the notorious MS-13 gang. A police interview document alleged that wearing the Chicago Bulls cap represents that one is in good standing with MS-13. Authorities in El Salvador refused to let Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, who is fighting for Abrego-Garcia release, into the prison where Abrego-Garcia is being held. Abrego-Garcia’s family denies that he is a member of any gang.
