The federal government froze more than $2 billion in federal funding after Harvard rejected a wide-ranging list of Trump administration demands. A federal judge demanded to know what the Trump administration has done to comply with a court order to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States after he was deported to El Salvador. The judge ordered the federal government to turn over evidence and facilitate depositions in the next two weeks. NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk and Gabe Gutierrez report.
