On #MorningJoe, Trump’s border czar Tom Homan defended sending the National Guard to L.A., saying officials “waited over two days while the city burned” and troops were needed “to protect life and property.”

Homan also acknowledged that ICE agents often arrest undocumented immigrants who aren’t the intended targets, blaming “sanctuary cities” for forcing agents into neighborhoods.
