In a continued show of defiance, the Trump administration has once again shrugged off the immediate demand for the return of a Maryland man who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador.

A Maryland federal district judge has ordered daily updates on Abrego Garcia’s status after the Supreme Court ruled the administration should facilitate his return.

Meanwhile, in another case, the lawyers for Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian Columbia University student and permanent resident, has said he’ll appeal a court ruling giving Trump the green light to deport him.
