President Trump denied plans to fire Fed Chair Jerome Powell on Wednesday, after reportedly asking House Republicans if he should oust him, and some said yes.

He told reporters it’s “highly unlikely” and added that it might be “one of the easiest jobs I’ve ever seen.”
