Speaking on 25 per cent tariffs recently imposed on Canada and what’s behind them, Wilbur Ross – U.S. President Donald Trump’s former Secretary of Commerce – says his former boss does not hate Canada but is addressing certain trade grievances through tariffs.

On how to “deal with Trump” and come to a solution on the trade war, Ross said it was imperative for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to “try to figure out how to get along” with the Republican leader, because “no one’s going to force him to back down.”
