Canadian voters backed Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberal Party on Monday, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. projects— delivering what The Washington Post called a “stunning comeback” in a national election strongly influenced by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Carney pledged to defend Canadian sovereignty, warning “Trump is trying to break us” and vowing to prioritize prosperity for Canadians when he meets with President Trump. The #MorningJoe panel reacts:
