US President Donald Trump says he currently has no plans to speak with Brazil’s president, Lula da Silva, about tariffs, adding: "Maybe at some point I’ll talk to him. Right now I’m not." Trump also praises former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro as "a very honest man" and "a tough negotiator," while suggesting he is being treated unfairly." Trump has strongly criticized the prosecution of right-wing ally Bolsonaro, who is on trial for allegedly plotting to cling to power after losing the 2022 elections to Lula. SOUNDBITE
