From Global News.
During a bilateral meeting in Glasgow with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump addressed questions from reporters about the controversial Jeffrey Epstein files and his alleged involvement with the disgraced sex offender billionaire.
Labelling them as “scum of the Earth,” Trump blamed former president Joe Biden, former FBI director James Comey and former Attorney General Merrick Garland for running the purported files against him.
Despite Trump challenging the legitimacy of the Epstein files for several years now, he accused former president Bill Clinton of going to Epstein’s island “28 times.”
“I never had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down,” Trump said. “A lot of people form Palm Beach were invited to his island.”
The Republican leader also doubled down that he did not write a bawdy birthday note –accompanied with a sexually suggestive drawing – for Epstein in 2003, after recent reports from the Wall Street Journal made the claim.
