US President Donald Trump says he would "probably" reconsider the decision to double planned steel and aluminum tariffs on imports from Canada, hours after announcing the sharp hike. Trump’s step up to 50 percent tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum imports came after its province of Ontario imposed an electricity surcharge on three US states — but Ontario has suspended that decision after talks with Washington.
