During a meeting with President Trump, European leaders say they encouraged him not to make any sweeping peace deals with Russia’s President Putin without Ukraine in the room. President Trump said there would be “very serious consequences” if Putin doesn’t agree to end the war in Ukraine after their meeting in Alaska. NBC News’ Richard Engel reports.
