U.S. President Donald Trump signed executive orders targeting cashless bail and flag-burning on Monday.
 
"Cashless bail, we’re ending it, but we’re starting by ending it in D.C., and that we have the right to do by federalization," Trump said while signing the order seeks to end cashless bail by threatening to revoke federal funding for jurisdictions that use it.
 
Trump also signed an executive order on flag-burning charges and stated that "you get one year in jail if you burn a flag."
 
In addition, the executive order directs the attorney general to refer flag desecration cases to state or local authorities. It also instructs the administration to prohibit and terminate visas, residence permits and naturalization proceedings for those who desecrate the flag.
