President Trump announced 10% tariffs on all imports, along with new reciprocal tariffs that will charge half the tax on foreign goods that dozens of countries are charging on American products. The President called it a “Liberation Day” that will bring back American manufacturing, but critics say it could raise prices. Tomorrow it’s 25% on auto imports, later this week is the 10% tariff on nearly all imports, and then next week, the President’s new “reciprocal tariffs” at substantially higher rates on select nations begin. NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez and Christine Romans reports.
