U.S. President Donald Trump visited Scotland for a four-day trip focused on his golf properties, including the opening of a new resort in Menie, Aberdeenshire.

The visit mirrored a similar stop during his 2016 campaign and drew a range of reactions from Scottish residents.

Some locals expressed pride in the investment, while others called the visit unwelcome.

Trump also toured his courses in Turnberry and Aberdeen ahead of a planned state visit to Britain in September.
