U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he had a "very good" call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and that there’s a very good chance of having a second meeting.

"I would like to do it almost immediately, and we’ll have a quick second meeting between President Putin and President Zelenskyy and myself, if they’d like to have me there," Trump said.

When asked about whether Russia will face any consequences if Vladimir Putin does not agree to end the war, Trump responded, saying, "There will be very severe consequences."
