TSA Moves to End Shoes-Off Policy After 20 Years

The TSA appears ready to end a rule that requires airline travelers to remove their shoes for security screenings thanks to the advancement of new technology. The requirement has been in place since 2006 when Richard Reid tried detonating an explosive in his shoes while on a flight from Paris to Miami. NBC’s Tom Costello breaks down the changes for TODAY.
