Ukraine scrambles to salvage fractured alliance with U.S. as military aid is suspended

U.S. officials told the News Hour the U.S. and Ukraine are working toward an agreement over future revenues from Ukraine’s critical mineral resources. That deal was derailed when Friday’s Oval Office meeting melted down. This as the White House pauses all military aid to Ukraine. Nick Schifrin reports and Amana Nawaz speaks with Doug Lute, a retired Army lieutenant general, to learn more.
