From DW News.
Russia and Ukraine have each released 175 prisoners of war, in one of the largest exchanges in years of fighting. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has previously said releasing all prisoners of war — as well as captured civilians — would be an important step toward peace. Zelenskyy and Russia’s president Vladimir Putin have both, in principle, agreed to halt attacks on energy infrastructure. US President Donald Trump has spoken to both leaders over the phone this week. And, after what the White House described as a "fantastic" one-hour call, Zelenskyy seemed confident that an end to fighting could be near.
