Some 40 per cent of Canadians are worried about losing their jobs amid a U.S.-Canada trade war sparked by President Donald Trump, a new poll has found.

The Leger poll suggests more than half of workers are concerned about job security – the highest numbers in the country – while just under one in four in Atlantic Canada have the same worries.

The poll also found that while 61 per cent of Canadians described their household finances as “good,” 46 per cent said they were living paycheque to paycheque.
