For decades, coffee imports entered the US largely duty-free, but now some of America’s top trading partners are facing double digit tariffs on their imports, including coffee.

That’s true of Brazil, the largest supplier of coffee to the US, which faces a 50% tariff on its exports to America.

The tariffs are straining an industry which provides more than one million jobs in the US and is poised to strain prices too.
