View of Al-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip after a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war was delayed this morning. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the last minute that the truce would not take effect until the Palestinian militant group provided a list of the hostages to be released. Israeli strikes on northern Gaza have since killed at least eight people and wounded more than 25 according to Gaza’s civil defence agency.
