WATCH: ‘I haven’t thought about it,’ Trump says on potential pardon of Epstein associate

From PBS NewsHour.

President Donald Trump said he ‘hadn’t thought’ about issuing a pardon to Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted for her role in helping Epstein recruit, groom, and abuse underage girls.

"I’m allowed to do it, but its something I haven’t thought about," Trump told reporters on Friday.

The Department of Justice on Thursday met with Maxwell in prison as part of an effort to appear more transparent on the Epstein case. Her attorney said she answered ‘every question’ asked by DOJ officials.
