Hennepin County Attorney’s Office is holding a news conference after the suspect in the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses was taken into custody Sunday night. Minnesota Democratic Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were shot and killed in their home early Saturday morning, and Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were also shot in their home. The suspect, Vance Boelter, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder, court records show.
