Droves of protesters are expected to come out in mass Saturday against President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk in Washington and hundreds of other locations across the country.
The nation’s largest progressive ‘resistance’ groups coordinated with local activists to set the rallies, marches, and protests, hoping to harness the building energy of people who are upset by the Trump administration’s actions. They are aiming to gather the largest crowds since Trump’s inauguration.
Hosting organizations include longstanding groups like Indivisible, Women’s March, MoveOn, Working Families Party, and Public Citizen and grassroots groups like 50501 that have formed since Election Day.
The Washington, D.C. event, expected to be the largest, starts at noon at the Washington Monument.
