WATCH: Trump does not want Iran to have a nuclear program or weapon, White House says

From PBS NewsHour.

President Donald Trump does not want Iran to have a nuclear program or weapon, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday.

"The president has made it clear he wants to see dialogue and discussion with Iran while making his directive about Iran never being able to obtain a nuclear weapon quite clear," she said.

The United States had its first meeting with Iran about its nuclear program last week. The next round of talks is scheduled for Saturday.
