From Global News.
On Wednesday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said that Canada should hit back at U.S. President Donald Trump "twice as hard" as the Trump administration expanded its 50 per cent steel and aluminum tariffs to include more than 400 additional product categories on Tuesday.
Ford claimed that not a single American senator or governor agrees with his tactics. "But guess what? They’re terrified of him," he added.
"We aren’t going to roll over. We aren’t going to kiss his backside. We’re going to fight like we never fought before," Ford said.
The Ontario government announced a $70 million investment to enhance worker training and employment services, including $20 million for Protect Ontario Workers Employment Response (POWER) Centers and $50 million for the Better Jobs Ontario program.
