A meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin appears increasingly likely, after both the White House and the Kremlin confirmed plans were underway. Putin suggested the United Arab Emirates as a venue for the talks. But he ruled out meeting with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy, saying the conditions for that encounter were not yet in place
