New Video: By some estimates, more than 200,000 people were killed by the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, during World War II. Many survivors developed illnesses associated with radiation exposure.
The survivors, known in Japanese as hibakusha, were often shunned by those who feared that radiation sickness was contagious. Hear their stories in a new video.
