During Wednesday’s news briefing, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt fielded several questions on the Gaza Strip and President Trump’s announced plan for the U.S. to take over the war-torn enclave. Leavitt stressed Mr. Trump hadn’t committed to U.S. troops on the ground there and said the U.S. would not pay for the rebuilding of Gaza.
