In 2019, it seemed as if the world was on the cusp of a mass environmental revolution. Millions of people took to the streets, walked out of schools, and blocked pipelines, and demand a world without fossil fuels. And then, the pandemic hit, other struggles arose, and in the blink of an eye, all of that momentum disappeared.
