From DW News.
The UN is warning that to ignore the plight of Sudan’s refugees will have catastrophic consequences. So far, twelve million people have been displaced as the country enters its third year of civil war.
Today, diplomats from around the world are meeting in London at a conference seeking to end the conflict, and provide more humanitarian relief. The UK and Germany have both announced new funding for aid organizations working in the region. However, neither of the warring parties are at the summit.
As hunger and atrocities continue to mount it looks as though Sudan may be split into two rival administrations.
