Witnesses recounted confusion over seeing a man holding a large weapon walking through a bustling part of Manhattan before entering a skyscraper, home to the NFL’s headquarters, and killing four people before killing himself.

“Nobody on Park Avenue said anything,” said one of several witnesses who was near the Midtown Manhattan office when the suspected gunman armed with an assault-style weapon then went on a shooting spree in the skyscraper.
